The updated MSR Remote 2 (Version 2), has additional vents in the fly sheet for improved ventilation and condensation management.  Version 2 is the latest and current model from 2021 onwards.

Editor’s Comments:
The 68 denier fly material, snow valences, huge hooped gear porch, multiple heavy duty guy points and double access doors all make the Remote 2 a very serious all-season go anywhere do anything shelter.
MSR have made it both roomy and liveable, but the weight is still only 1.65kg per person when split between two. Thats exceptionally light for this type of robust mountain tent.
